RFID technology is not only a technical hotspot, it is the final development direction of the information age, and it is the inevitable road for human beings to move from informatization and automation to intelligence. 2. Introduction to business functions

The hotel is a service industry, and managers need to consider many issues, how to provide a full range of services for each customer staying in the hotel, and how to strengthen the management of employees so that the hotel can operate efficiently and reliably. From the perspective of business, it can be built into a hotel card system, mainly made of RFID dual-frequency cards (high frequency and ultra-high frequency), which are service card and management card, and the two systems are relatively independent. For ease of management, all-in-one cards generally use cards of the same medium, but each has its own database for integrated management. Here we mainly describe some main applications.


2.1 Hotel Intelligent Guidance System
The installation of the hardware equipment of this system is mainly to install the reader at the exit of the elevator on each floor. At the same time, the direction indicator lights are installed on the wall of the walkway. Guests can walk to their own rooms according to the direction indicator lights.


2.1.1 Guests register at the front desk
After the guest registers at the front desk, the front desk registers the guest's information, and at the same time, the guest room equipment will be automatically connected to the Internet to enter the waiting state. At this time, the equipment in the guest room is automatically adjusted to achieve the effect of welcoming guests. Air conditioner running status - adjust the wind speed to high speed, so that the guest room can quickly reach the predetermined comfortable temperature. In this way, when guests enter the room, they will have a comfortable room temperature.

2.1.2 Guest guidance
After the guest registers the information, he knows his floor and room number, and then enters the elevator. The elevator stops when it reaches the corresponding floor. When the guest exits the elevator, because the guest wears a tenant, the customer information will be collected by the installation equipment, and It is transmitted to the background through the wired network; the background will control the direction indicator lights in the corridor to light up according to the collected information. When guests see a row of indicator lights in a certain direction, they can walk in the direction of the indicator lights until they reach the guest's room.

2.1.3 During the guest's stay

When the guest enters the room, after the guest inserts the guest room IC card into the power-saving key box, the guest room intelligent centralized control system enters the running mode, and its equipment status is as follows: Guest room power socket - all controlled sockets supply power, including TV sockets, air conditioners Sockets, etc.; lighting status of lamps - all the lights in the living space of the guest are turned on to achieve the effect of welcoming guests and leave a deep impression on the guests; air conditioning operation status - after the guests enter the room, the room temperature goes through a period of high speed The operation has reached a relatively comfortable temperature. After the guest inserts the card, the fan automatically switches to a low-speed operation mode, providing a quiet and comfortable environment for the guest, and then the guest can adjust the room equipment according to their own needs.

2.1.4 Guest departure
When the guest checks-out at the front desk, the control authority of the room equipment will automatically return to the central control at the front desk. The front desk will automatically issue a reset command after the guest leaves to restore the equipment in the room where the guest lives to the original state (according to the management requirements). 2.2 Conference sign-in system
The conference sign-in system realizes the registration of conference personnel information, seat guidance, welcome speech, and counting the number of guests in the hotel. The RFID reader is installed in a relatively hidden place where the conference personnel must pass.

2.2.1 Guest information processing
This function mainly completes the query, addition, modification, saving and deletion of guest information, and also can import or export customer information into the database in Excel format.

2.2.2 Welcome speech
An LED display screen is installed at the entrance of the conference room. When the participants enter the venue, the card information is collected by the reading and writing equipment, and the welcome speech, including the person's name, seat number and other information, will be displayed on the display screen.

2.2.3 Seat Guidance
According to the information on the welcome speech, the participants can be correctly guided to the correct seats, and the guests will be seated accordingly.

2.2.4 Statistics of guests
According to the information collected by RFID equipment, the number of attendees, latecomers and no-shows can be counted in a timely and accurate manner.

2.3 Elevator safety system
The elevator control system realizes various safety management functions controlled by cards. It provides strong technical support for the hotel's security management, restricts the flow of irrelevant personnel, effectively prevents non-hotel guests from entering the room floor at will, and improves the security of the guests.
According to the actual needs of the hotel, a reading and writing device is installed in the elevator, and various parameters are downloaded to the white card elevator manager through the management software. out, and check whether the data (validity period, authority, blacklist) is legal, if the data is legal, the elevator will reach the floor where the user has authority, otherwise the elevator will not run.


2.4 Check-in guest consumption system
In terms of method, guests' consumption by credit card in the hotel can be divided into two types: pre-deposited cash consumption and identity authentication consumption.
The pre-paid cash consumption method requires the guest to pay a certain fee in advance at the time of check-in, and the service staff records the amount in the designated area on the room card. During the guest's stay, by swiping the room card, you can conduct consumption activities within the limit value (such as purchasing goods, dining, car, etc.),. This kind of consumption method is relatively complicated. Since various types of bank cards are very common at present, people are accustomed to spending with cards and do not carry a lot of cash with them. The pre-storage fee needs to be set up by the PMS system and UnionPay, which not only increases the software complexity, and increased responsibility for consumption reconciliation. Therefore, the pre-stored consumption method is mostly limited to long-term agreement customers, and the practical application has become less and less.

Identity verification consumption only confirms the identity of the guest on small or free service items. For example, guests with high reputation or VIP level, the system allows billing consumption after completing the identity confirmation, and settles at the front desk when checking out. This kind of consumption is the main trend of hotel operation at present.


2.5 Vehicle access control system
The parking lot intelligent management system is an organic combination of computer management technology, automatic control technology, Ethernet real-time communication technology, image recognition technology and smart card technology. It can realize the functions of vehicle access management, automatic data storage, image comparison, etc., to ensure the safety of vehicles in the field, to facilitate the understanding of the dynamics of vehicles in the field at any time, and to achieve accurate and efficient dynamic management. Flexible, multi-functional dynamic query and security, strict security functions, while simplifying the management procedures for temporarily parked vehicles.

The usual practice is that guests staying at the hotel can enter and exit the hotel within the valid time with the room card, internal employees can enter and exit with the card according to the set level, and outsiders receive a temporary card at the entrance and pay the fee according to the length of stay.

2.6 Washing system
Textile tablecloths are used in each hotel including the restaurant and several banquet areas, and there are a considerable number of hundreds of guest rooms that require bathrobes, bed linen and towels. With so many textiles leaving the hotel each day to be washed, pressed and folded before returning to the hotel, it makes it harder for laundromats to track the location of those textiles, the quantity, and to confirm that they have all returned.
Some hotels want to be able to track the number of times each item is washed and estimate the useful life of those items based on the number of washes. Hotels also want to be able to receive alerts when an item has reached the maximum number of washes, indicating that the item may need to be replaced.
