Cainiao's "second-level order change" combines RFID and blockchain technology to cover key ports across the country

According to news on June 1, Cainiao said that during the 618 period, Cainiao's "second-level order change" blockchain technology has covered key ports across the country. Merchants use the exchange platform based on this technology to submit applications, and the bonded goods can be shipped in a few seconds.

Cainiao introduced that the order exchange platform uses blockchain technology to open up data between shipping companies and ports. It has the advantages of process-based collaboration and mutual trust, full visibility, time control, risk prevention, and paperless throughout.

It is understood that this platform has covered six important ports including Shanghai, Ningbo, and Nansha, helping importers to solve the pain points of slow customs clearance and urgent delivery. At present, nearly 100 large-scale merchants have used this service. Cainiao plans to add more pilot ports in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the Greater Bay Area on the basis of the existing pilot ports.

With the launch of the Tmall 618 campaign, millions of tons of Tmall 618 goods have now entered the Cainiao warehouse, and more than 29,000 overseas brands in 87 countries and regions around the world have entered the Cainiao global supply chain network. Among imported goods, the top stocks are beauty cosmetics, medical health care products, and maternal and child products.

In mid-April, Cainiao's "Precision Radio Frequency Identification Technology" won the Logistics Technology Innovation Award issued by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing.

This is the third-generation identification technology after barcodes and QR codes. It has the conditions for large-scale commercial use and is expected to greatly promote the digital upgrade of the supply chain and logistics fields.

Radio frequency identification technology (RFID) is generally used for the inventory of goods in the commodity circulation of the supply chain, inbound and outbound, and full-link tracking. However, because of limited technological breakthroughs, the recognition accuracy rate is not high, and it has not been put into practice on a large scale. application. This technology has greatly increased the recognition accuracy rate to 99.8% compared with the previous 80%, which is the world's leading.

In addition, the intelligent handheld operation terminal "Cainiao LEMO PDA" independently developed by Cainiao greatly improved the efficiency of logistics operations by reconfiguring logistics production tools and won the German Red Dot Design Award.

Since the start of the “Cainiao Electronic Face Order” package digitization, Cainiao has successively launched full-link digital solutions such as robotic warehouses, unmanned vehicles, automated sorting, smart post stations, and digital customs clearance in the field of IoT technology.
