Compared with the previous time, the time for each person to scan the code and display the code is shortened by 2-3 seconds on average.

Under the normalized epidemic prevention and control, people enter and exit public places to scan the code, check the itinerary card, check the temperature, etc., a process takes about 40 to 50 seconds, especially for some elderly customers who do not know how to use mobile phones, it may take more than 1 minute . If it happens during peak hours, there will be congestion in these high-traffic places. Not only that, there will be dim light and inaccuracy when scanning the code, and the efficiency is really low.

In response to this situation, the Alipay technical team has combined the widely used NFC technology with epidemic prevention punch cards. Users only need to turn on the NFC function of the mobile phone, and then light up the mobile phone screen against the coil, and the mobile phone will automatically read the Smart NFC tag and click the NFC function. The card evokes the location code/health code to open the page and complete the quick code display.


NFC use

In recent years, with the development of technology, many mobile phones support the NFC function, and only need close contact to complete the communication. The application is also very extensive. The three most commonly used communication modes are: read-only mode, read-write mode, and point-to-point communication.

In read-only mode, we can use the NFC function to simulate and copy the access control cards, bus cards, bank cards (with the QuickPass logo) and other cards we use daily to the smartphone. Once the copy is successful, you only need to have a mobile phone to go out, and you can easily open the door, take the bus, or even use the mobile phone to swipe the POS machine by turning on the NFC function, which is very convenient.

In actual use, we only need to open an APP on the mobile phone to find the function of copying the card, move the card to be copied close to the position of the NFC induction coil, wait for the copying to be completed, and our mobile phone can be simulated as a card. When we want to take a car or open the door, we only need to open the NFC function (some mobile phones need to open the NFC-related APPA), select the corresponding analog card, and then put the mobile phone close to the card reader.

In the read-write mode, the smartphone can not only read information from the physical card, but also rewrite the information. The two most commonly used scenarios are as follows:

Check the balance of the bus card: you only need to turn on the NFC shortcut switch of the mobile phone, and place the card against the induction coil position. After the smartphone senses the card, it will prompt us to select the APP to open. Select WeChat, Alipay APP can read the card information, including the balance.

To recharge the bus card: the operation method is the same as that of checking the balance, the only difference is that after reading the information, click the "recharge" button to recharge. The recharge process needs to keep the contact between the card and the mobile phone. (Some bus cards do not support NFC recharge)


In the point-to-point communication mode, it is generally more convenient to transfer files in a short distance than Bluetooth. For example, Huawei's "one-touch transfer" function uses NFC to achieve fast files between mobile phones and notebooks. Simplifies file transfer between android phone and windows computer.

NFC domestic application scenarios

In China, NFC technology is also suitable for many scenarios, such as mobile payment function, bus card swiping function, meal card in school canteen, various access control cards, various electronic tickets, various electronic tickets, transmission of files and data, electronic business cards, Smart posters, home appliance operation, logistics, etc.

Users can go to the mall to buy things, sign in to work or meetings, swipe bus cards or movie tickets, or exchange electronic business cards with others, play games online, and so on through smart phones with NFC. The most important point is that even if the mobile phone is out of power, it can still be used as a transportation card, meal card, access control card, ticket, etc., which is exactly the same as the various proximity cards in our hands.

However, the development of NFC technology in China is still relatively slow. Although the digital RMB APP NFC "touch" payment has been tested for a long time, it has not been realized. The competition for mobile payment standards dominated by UnionPay and mobile operators and domestic The financial environment in China has caused the development of mobile payment to stagnate.
